Leah specializes in business disputes, bringing her experience in tax and finance to crafting practical solutions to her clients’ issues.  Leah has appeared at all levels of court, including the Supreme Court of Canada.

Before Crabtree + Senkpiel, Leah practiced for several years at large organizations including a national law firm and ‘big four’ accounting firm, as well as the leading tax boutique in Canada. After law school, she clerked for seven justices of the British Columbia Supreme Court including the Associate Chief Justice. In addition to her Juris Doctor, Leah holds an MBA and finished first in her undergraduate class with a B. Comm. (Finance).

Leah volunteers with various organizations including the Avalanche Canada Foundation where she is a director and member of the governance and fundraising committees. Leah is a former member of the Canadian Tax Foundation’s Young Practitioners Steering Committee.
