Medina is a graduate of University of Victoria Faculty of Law. She holds a Masters of Design in Strategic Foresight & Innovation and a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Political Science. Prior to entering the legal sector, she spent several years working as a design strategist for various corporate clients, applying change management, systems thinking, strategic foresight, and human-centred design principles to products and services.
Before joining Crabtree + Senkpiel, Medina worked as a Service Designer for the Government of Alberta’s Digital Innovation Office, designing virtual courts and court case management software. She is an avid proponent of human-centred legal services, access to justice, and data-informed decision-making in all corners of the legal system.
Medina was called to the British Columbia bar in January 2023.
